I am an abstract landscape oil and mixed-media artist, living and creating from my home studio in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Making art is something I have always enjoyed. After taking every art course available in school and several years of private painting lessons, I knew I wanted to further my art education. I graduated summa cum laude from Concordia College Moorhead, Minnesota in 2004, with a BFA in Fine Art and Communication.

I began my professional career as a graphic designer and photographer, and then later transitioned into a successful business owner offering creative design, marketing, illustration and photography. Fine art was never far from my mind and so after the birth of my two children I decided to pursue my dream to be a full time fine artist.

Having children has a way of shaking your priorities. It made me mindful of how precious our time is, the value of slowing down to appreciate life and that the time to do what we feel we are “meant” to do is now!

Now I spend my days creating art that brings me joy and pride because each piece is an authentic representation of what is deeply planted in my heart.
